The CBA Line Following Module

This line following module is perfectly suited to the CBA robot. It features a unique adjustable sensor system. This system lets you place from one to six sensors in 13 different locations and the sensors can be changed as needed, in seconds.

The LFM comes as a kit of parts with everything you need including a cable to connect it to a CBA robot. While designed with the CBA robot in mind it can be adapted to many other robots.

The LFM board is 3.54" x 1.75".

The Sensors
The CBA line following module (LFM) uses long focal length infrared sensors. All the sensors of the LFM are removable and repositionable. This ability provides for flexible sensor arrangements to cover a wide range of line following needs.

The kit comes with 6 plug-in sensors but you can use any number of sensors from one to six.

Sensors are connected to a voltage comparator so you can vary the sensitivity for different surfaces and lighting.

The kit contains all the parts you need to assemble the LFM.
